No more stretching wires under windows and through walls! Now you can monitor weather and environmental conditions in and outside of your home or office with this complete Cable Free Weather Station. Exciting, innovative wireless outdoor sensors operate on solar power for simple installation and sophisticated use.
Every sensor necessary for total weather monitoring is included -- temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, and rainfall. The indoor touchscreen control sensor with bright blue HiGlo backlighting is only about 7" wide, perfect for desktop or wall-mount use anywhere.
The unit displays and records over 20 separate weather conditions, selected by a press of the touch-sensitive, jumbo LCD display screen:
- Barometric pressure and trend
- Weather forecast
- Indoor/outdoor temperatures
- Wind speed/direction as well as wind chill
- Indoor/outdoor dew points
- Rainfall rate and daily/accumulated amounts
- Higrometer with indoor/outdoor realtive humidity readings
The system features memories for all conditions, such as high and low temperatures, as well as optional user-set alarms for all monitoring funtions. Each alarm activates an audible/visual warning condition when a pre-set value, such as a wind-chill reading, is reached.
The backlit display of the comprehensive control unit also features a digital clock with alarm and day/date calendar. Weather conditions are graphically displayed, including a compass rose for wind direction, and feature icons indicate the selected monitoring mode.
Also included is Oregon Scientific's innovative graphical weather forecasting system. Easily recognized weather icons -- sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy/snowy, and stormy -- display the forecast for the next 12-24 hours. Forecasts are based on electronic barometric-pressure sensing, and these weather predictions are considered to be 75% accurate.
An optional PC Link software/cable package enables monitoring and graphing all weather conditions on your PC. All solar cells, and an AC adaptor are included.

- RGR968 Rain Collector Gauge (measures rainfall in millimiter increments) with Solar Power Cell
- BTHR968 Baro-Hygrometer (measures indoor temperature and humidity). Requires 4 "AAA" Batteries (not included).
- This Weather Station can support three additional remote sensors (for a total of seven remote sensors). Compatible sensors are the THC268 (with waterproof cable, ideal for monitoring hot tubs, pools, ponds, freezers, etc.) and THGR268 (collects both temperature and humidity readings).
